Kempower designs and manufactures DC fast-charging solutions for electric vehicles, including passenger cars, buses, and heavy-duty trucks. The company’s goal is to accelerate sustainable transport by enabling the deployment of scalable, modular, and user-friendly EV charging infrastructure across Europe. Within this remit, Kempower engages with EU-level policy and regulatory developments related to electric mobility, energy systems, and clean transport. This includes contributing technical expertise to support the implementation of the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR), promoting standards and funding frameworks for high-power and depot charging, encouraging interoperable payment solutions, and supporting modular charging concepts that enhance grid efficiency and facilitate the integration of renewable energy. Kempower’s activities aim to support the development of a robust, future-proof European charging ecosystem aligned with EU climate and electrification objective
